Maya Devi Temple.
Maya Devi is the mother of Buddha Gautama Siddhartha, and the modern red brick temple houses a plinth believed to be the exact spot where she gave birth to the Buddha in 563BC. The modern building is surrounded by ruins dating from the 2nd century BC to the 9th century AD.
