Gran Paradiso, Italy
August 2003 - As an alternative to Mont Blanc, which was deemed too dangerous this year, an ascent of the highest mountain wholly in Italy, 4061m Gran Paradiso, ascending via the Chabod hut and descending via Vittorio Emanuele hut.
