The Cuernos del Paine. Cuerno Principal (2600m) and Cuernos Este (2200m).
The distinctive line between two rock types can clearly be seen, with the lighter granite below, and black metamorphic rock above. These black-capped towers are responsible for the name, cuernos meaning horns in Spanish, a reference to the horns of the devil!
