The Gaelic name of this mountain - Bod an Deamhain (pronunciation: pot in john) - translates literally as the Devil's Penis. Legend has it that it acquired its present name when a quick-thinking John Brown, manservant to Queen Victoria, was asked by Her Majesty to name that mountain over there. Slightly embarrassed, he decided to be a little creative with his translation. On a separate note, in point of fact the mountain looks nothing like a penis.
