Length and height unit converter
The length converter converts standard imperial units to metric. It can convert inches to millimetres, millimetres to inches, inches to centimetres, centimetres to inches, inches to metres, metres to inches, feet to metres, metres to feet, yards to metres, metres to yards, kilometres to miles, and miles to kilometres.
To use the length converter simply type a length into the text box, select which units you wish to convert from the drop down list and click 'Submit'.
If you know your height in metres and centimetres, it will also give an approximation in feet and inches. To use this option, select metres to feet and type your height in as a decimal.

1 inch = 2.54 centimetres
1 inch = 0.0254 metres
1 foot = 12 inches
1 yard = 36 inches
1 kilometre = 0.621371 miles
